Personal Data Treatment The access to some website sections and/or possible enquiries or requests from the website users could be bound to the entry of personal data. La Scheggina, as subject entrusted of the data treatment, will process the personal details in compliance with the Legislative Decree 196/2003 “Personal Data Protection Code” (hereinafter referred to as the “Code”). The scope of this information note is to inform the website users about the methods that La Scheggina uses to process their personal details, after they access to the site sections. It is the user’s duty to read it before emailing his/her personal data. Purpose of the data processing Personal data will be processed without making use of information tools and only for the following purposes: a) to schedule reservations; b) to fulfil the obligation as per the article 109 RD n. 773 of 18.06.1931 that asks us to record and pass on to the local police department the personal details of the clients hosted in our facilities; c) to comply with the current tax and accounting obligations; If you omit to communicate your personal details or the details of your family or your group on arrival, it will be impossible for us to accommodate you in our facilities. Your personal details will only be processed for the abovementioned purposes and will not be passed on or used for advertising purposes. Data Processing Methods The personal data e-mailed (a) by you, essential for the reservation, will not be stored in any database or using electronic means; they will be filed in a printed form and only for the purpose of reservation. They will be carefully stored and deleted when You fill out the "Check - In Form" (b) along with the information required by local Police Department. The copies of the tax receipts will be kept in compliance with the safeguard of the rights set forth in the Code. Type of data to be processed Subjected to be processed are the personal details forwarded by the clients at the time of reservation (i.e. name, surname phone number, e-mail address, etc.). Sharing of Data The personal data provided by the users will be known by employees or aides who have been authorised to receive them. They will be also communicated to the personnel in charge of the personal data treatment who have been duly instructed to do that under the articles 29 and 30 of the Code. The person concerned has the right to obtain confirmation of whether personal data concerning him or her exists or not – even though it may not have been recorded yet – and to have it communicated to him or her in an understandable form. 2.The person concerned has the right to obtain information about: a) the origin of his/her personal data; b) the purposes and methods of its processing will be processed; c) the logics applied in the event of processing being carried out using electronic instruments; d) The identification details of the owner, of those responsible and the appointed representative as per Art. 5 Paragraph 2; e) the people or categories of people to whom the data may be distributed or who may become aware of it in their capacity of designated representatives in any area of the Italian territory, officers or appointees. 3. The person concerned is entitled to obtain: a) updates, corrections or, where interested therein, additions to the data; b) the erasure, blocking, or transformation into an anonymous form of data which has been processed unlawfully, including data which does not need to be kept for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed; c) a declaration that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) above have been made known, even with regards to their content, to those people to whom the data has been communicated or distributed, except in the case where compliance with this is found to be impossible or involves the use of means that are manifestly out of proportion compared to the right being safeguarded. 4. The person concerned has the right to object, entirely or in part: a) for legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data regarding him/her, even if it may be relevant to the aims of the data collection; b) the processing of personal data regarding him/her for the purposes of sending publicity or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or commercial communication."
